 Question about Yaz and hair loss?
I have had horrible thinning hair for about 6 years now. This board has been so helpful to me recently. I have started taking Flaxseed oil supplements, Biotin, and a good multi vitamin. I also use women's Rogaine and Nioxin shampoo....but I don't know how much longer it will be before I need a "piece". Anyway, through research on this board I didn't start my birth control pill over this Sunday (Allesse) because apparently it is high in androgen. I called my gyno this morning and told her I wanted something low in androgen. She called in a prescription for Yaz. Has anyone had luck with this helping their thinning hair? Or should I just stay off completely, but I am afraid that might make me lose more hair! Thoughts/advice? |
