I actually prefer to see male doctors because my experience has been that female doctors try to compare your pain to theirs. I am very blessed that my endo is/was a mild case, and Depo-Provera kept it to a minimum for years. Once I stopped DP though I can tell it has come back. My dr has mentioned the possibility of surgery again, but I want to try Femara, HCG and IUI to see if I can get pregnant. If I am not pregnant by next summer I may contemplate having another lap and D&C to clean things out...to have a clean canvas so to speak....
