Default Lactose Intolerance

Hi Ladies!

I need help!!! I was diagnosed yesterday with lactose intolerance and have no idea what to do. I was given a handout that briefly explained it and what to look for in food items. I swear everything has lactose in it!!!

I have an appointment with a dietician, but its not until next week and in the mean time I am at a total loss as to what I can eat. I have pretty much realized what I can't eat. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Oh, I am not allowed to use any soy substitutes, or lactaid, etc, for two weeks. They are trying to get my body back to normal before I introduce new substitutes and test what level or dairy I can tolerate.
