I'm on metformin, trying to conceive #2. I'm a size 8-10, and seeing a fertility specialist in Melbourne.
I also conceived #1 on Metformin. At the time of TTC #1, I found the gynos were generally not comfortable prescribing metformin. If you have ANY fertility issues, get your GP to refer you to a fertility specialist. Don't waste time with a gyno, it's not what they specialize in.
