My initial labs were just denied by my insurance and I am shoked at how much those labs cost. We’re going to recode and resubmit since the actual purpose of those labs was to diagnosis PCOS/irregular cycles and not infertility and that should take care of the issue... I sure hope so because those labs were expensive and we just don‘t have that money lying around. My appt was denied but resubmitted and pending, ultrasound was coded correctly and covered.
The cost of living where we are located is a little high so I’m not sure if that affects the lab costs or not but here is what the initial diagnostic testing cost without insurance...

Maybe it differs by area or drs might charge a different rate for paying in cash... it wouldn't hurt to call around.
