The plan is slowly but surely coming together. I'm looking at the meds available. My wife has taken Metformin before, and we have access to it here in Mexico. In the past, she's been reluctant to take the full dosage that is recommended (she's only taken 1000 mg / day), and so a couple of questions came to mind:

(1) does taking the full dosage of Metformin get easier over time?

(2) are the benefits of Metformin worth the nausea / diarrhea?

I understand that it is uncomfortable to feel nauseous, but when I read all the bad things that PCOS does to you I would think it is worth it. But I don't know from personal experience.

Anybody with experience with Metformin please respond! Thanks.
