I would love to be a contact for her. I hope you can convince her to come to this site. It has helped me tremendously with developing a plan for myself.
As far as the Metformin goes, I took it for two months. I have access to that as well. However, I was only taking 500 mg and it was giving awful menstrual pains plus increased flow to the point of excessive. I am not IR or D2 so I opted not to use that as part of my treatment plan.
I had several concerns with liver and kidney functioning/testing on a regular basis. I also was concerned about the effect on my sugar levels if I took too much.
