Default what do the numbers mean?

I had my doc apt today where I asked her all my questions. LOL
l. what do the numbers mean? I think she said T3 was 5.7, T4 was 7.1 and something else was 2.6. Or maybe I'm getting the 2nd and 3rd number mixed up. One was thryoxine hormone. She just said it was one of those that was really low.

I talked to her about anxious and depressed feelings. One thing is that she gave me a form to fill out to weigh my symptoms out. Scale 0-6 meaning 6 was the worst and 0 is hardly noticeable. I don't have periods anymore, so 0's were filled out. But I do notice feelings of depression, anxiety, screwy thinking, fatigue and feeling cold.

It really helped me a lot to talk to her, she did not discount anything I said. In fact she recommended natural things and she said a lot of women are deficient in estrogen, progesterone and testosterone as they get older. She put me on a progesterone and Armour Thyroid. I know some people have written about it.

How is Armour different from Synthroid? She agreed to change me over to Armour(but why was I put on Synthroid to begin with if she favors natural supplements and she knew it was synthetic?)
