You could try a turkey burger. If you use the right seasoning it can taste just like regular burgers and might help with the cravings. However, if you do go back to eating red meat, the way to do it is just a little bit at a time. I was a vegetarian and didn't eat any meat, and now I do white meat but usually no to very little red meat. When I added white meat back in, I literally started at 1 chicken nugget because it was an easy way to get a VERY small amount so I didn't upset my stomach. I was fine and never had problems slowly building up to a full serving from there. So I would say for red meat, just start with a very small portion and eat that much only a day for about a week, and then you can slowly add more as needed.
