Default PCOS a problem when adopting?

DH and I are applying for adoption in the next few months. I'm worried about not passing the physical because of my PCOS. I am insulin resistant and pre-diabetic. We are adopting through Catholic Charities. I know we have to pass a physical as part of the homestudy process. I am interested in others' experiences and wondering if this syndrome will affect our approval. Thank you for any responses!
