This may be the answer... I've been on soulcysters for a while, and always bypassed the hypothyroid part of this board. I don't know why, I just never thought to take a moment to read about hypothyroidism before. Well for a while some of my PCOS related symptoms have been getting worse, but especially my depression and along with that extremely low energy levels. Knowing that my depression mostly isn't related to outside stresses but was most likely something internal I began to search online and ponder what could be the cause. Then for no apparent reason whatsoever, hypothyroidism popped into my head and I decided to look it up and see what it's about. Mind you I never knew anything about this before, I have no clue why I even thought of it. But after reading up on it as well as posts in here, it sounds very reasonable to think this could be a contributing factor. I could of course be wrong and I know I can't know for sure until I see a doctor or something. But it's still nice to have some hope that maybe I have finally found a possible source to my depression. |
