I went on oral progesterone (prometrium) for three weeks after I had some cysts/faulty ovary removed. I remember sleeping fine, but it was nothing that dramatic for me as I am tired by 11pm when I turn in. What I didn't like about the prometrium is that my breasts were out of control. By this I mean they bloated and I couldn't fit into my bras properly. I would probably have stayed on each month, but I didn't care for the side effects.
