Let me add something as well with regards to the procedures I've done with him. Dr Abae likes to research your body to make sure he knows everything before just jumping in. As I mentioned in my first post, he went through all paperwork, imaging, history, etc that I had with me. While going through the ultrasound images that I brought, he thought he saw what looked to possibly be a growth in my uterus. Instead of just rushing to laparoscopy surgery, which we both knew we would ultimately get to, he did the SIS procedure to check my uterus more for growths. From the SIS and the 3D ultrasound image that is produced from that procedure is how we found I had a septate uterus. So if it weren't for his extra research on my body, I would have gotten the laparoscopy done and when the time came for pregnancy I could have ended up going in circles to figure why I would not carry a pregnancy and miscarry (since septates cause miscarriages). Not to mention, if the septate were found later, I'd have to go back to surgery again for that.
So if you're patient with him and you give him ALL historical info on you, be prepared that he will probably want to run some of his own tests to confirm some things or to find out additional info where past doctors may not have considered.
