Unhappy Hello, I am due to see my gynae, what do you think...?

Hello,

I have had PCOS for years, but it is under control better than ever. I am using Yasmin, and usually bi-cycle my pill which helps.

However, my gynae is looking into the possibility of endometriosis since I am showing symptoms of it, and nothing seems to help. He said this 3 years ago, but you know how slow these things can be...

I'd be really grateful if those of you with endo could read my symptoms and tell me what you think. I feel so lost at times, and having time off work for appointments raises eyebrows and it makes me feel embarressed!

Ok, so my symptoms are:

* Pain all throughout my cycle in lower abdomen, back, hips and in uterus and ovaries (regardless of whether I am on the pill - though it does decrease it).

* Terribly painful periods (regardless of amount or length).

* Strange sensations, like sore "cotton wool" pain in my tummy.

* Tummy problems before and during period.

* Painful sensation when needing a wee.

* Pain during sex and ultrasound scans.

I don't think this is normal, and it really confuses me. One minute I can be fine then suddenly WHAM! It hurts...

Would appreciate any advice or comments. I see my gynae next month and I may have a laparoscopy this year according to him. He would also like me to start tri-cycling my pill, which I am ok with, but prefer to just take 2 packs as it makes me feel very tender.

Thank you for reading xx
