Ive just been reading through your post and the bit about your bowel on your scan stuck out, when i went for a ultrasound scan and internal scan in 2005 there was a black blob on the screen and i asked the sonographer what it was i thought it was my ovaries, turns out it was my bowel, i later mentioned this to the gyny when he was looking at the results and he said everything was fine and dandy and shouldnt worry about it, the in july 2007 got diagnosed with pcos. the pain is still the but im living with it im taking dyhydrocodine 30mg 4x a day.
Hopefully you will get some proper help, and when u go to the gyny if u dont feel fullfilled with the answers ask for a second opioin.
