I found my first gray hair when I was 14. By the time I was 25, it looked like it was heavily frosted. And I had dark brown hair as a child and in my teens. I dyed it for a while, because my husband said, "I married a brown-headed woman and I want her to stay that way." But I finally got sick of those white roots sticking up after two weeks, and quit dying it about 10 years ago. It has been totally white ever since. The nice thing is, I get compliments all the time now and I never did when my hair was brown. But it is a really nice white, not gray. Sometimes people who don't know me think I'm a peroxide blond, cause it does tend to get a little yellow on the ends. It's hard to keep white hair white. |
