What I find appalling from my doctor, whom is my new doctor, is when she first told me I may have PCOS...and said, "You show all the symptoms except for obesity, though that will come later." The way she said it implied that I WILL get fat later in life, and when I went home to research PCOS, not every person becomes overweight! So at my next appt I asked her again and she denyed she ever told me that...you don't tell a teen that she will become fat, especially when I told her all about my image problems...
