I know exactly how you feel when it comes to the question of, 'Is God for real?' I would listen to what others would say and think that maybe they were right but within a few seconds I would know that they were WRONG! Why? Because I have seen His work done in my life and so many others.
There have been times when trouble seems to pour into my home and I keep wondering when it will stop. Then I remember that, 'This too shall pass'
The devil has found a weak spot and he is using it to get to you. Keep praying. Ask God to release this hold that the devil has. No matter what your troubles are take them to God. It may seem like there is no end but trust me...there is. No matter how hard things get keep your faith because that is the only thing that will get you through.
