Hello Kimmerad,
I don't know of how much help I will be but to me it sounds as if you just have bad doctors. I come across them myself. I'm soon to be 27 and been dealing with pcos since I was 13 but the doctors never picked up on it. All they did was put me on bcp once my AF stopped.
All meds don't work for everyone and some people take different routes but your doctors have you going back and forth so you can't be stable enough to know what works for you. I haven't gotten to the point of taking Clomid myself but I will hopefully start some time soon. You should find a recommended Reproductive Endocrinologist and they can tell you each step you need to take. If things doesn't work out for your BFP, than I'm sure he or she will tell you if its time for you to result to IVF. Don't give up without a fight. I always say to people "just because a doctor is certified doesn't make him qualified". Keep pushing through this and get your BFP without IVF.
