I did a search on adoption laws for different states, and I am astounded at how simple they are. Most states require either an agency or an attorney, but other than that, things appear to be mostly straightforward. I would want an attorney anyway, just to make sure things are done right with no misunderstandings or hard feelings on either side. I have to wonder about things like , what if the baby is born with birth defects? |
