Hi i had a laparoscopy done on the NHS. I had tried clomid and it wasnt working so the lap was the next stage before getting fertilty injections. I only waited a month or 2, i went to my follow up appointment after the failed clomid in early oct and he had the operating list with him and he gave me a date for early nov so i was shocked how fast it went. I think it was as fast as i was at the fertilty clinic already - maybe they have more priority than GPs unless something is an extreme emergency, not sure. If i had went to the GP and i wasnt ttc then i think the waiting list would have been 1 year or whatever.
Are u having fertilty treatment already? if so u should ask them directly about waiting times etc they will prob be more informed
