Seborrheic dermatitis, anyone? Hi everyone, I'm new to the site and this is my first post. (I'm not even fully diagnosed as a cyster, my ultrasound results still have to get to my doctor, but he's pretty sure from everything else). Does anyone else find that the excess androgens we produce also causes seborrheic dermatitis? I find my condition (which is basically rough, red, overflaky overgrowing skin near the nose, mouth and eyebrows) keeps cycling every month and gets pretty bad. It's gotten a little better now that I have been 1.5 months on BCPs. Hydrocortisone, ketaconazole etc. works but takes several days to calm the symptoms. Anyone else find this part of the PCOS package? |
