Thank You Ladies....DO any of you know if BFing changes your levels at all as I want to start seeking treatment but am still BFing my DD? As for my DD1 the endo just told me she has all the classic signs of IR just watch her diet...We were sent to the indo becuase of her weight I get so tired of ddoctrs only focusing on the weight as the issue and telling me to watch what she eats and exercise her...She is a typical 8 year old she plays a lot and eats very little but yet still weighs 130 pounds am I the only one who sees a problem here...I worry also that if I have a thyroid condition then she could very well also...I am also scarded that my 2 year old will end up in the same situatuin she is very petiete now but so was the 8 year old she did not begin to gain until she was 3...
As far as the hashimoto's I remember watching an episode of mystery diagnois and the women that hashimoto's and I just kept thinking that sound just like myself I could idenify with everything she was talking about...
I am hoping I can find a doc who will listen to me and then I can have help with my DD that way...
On a side note my last appointment with an endo I left so PO'ed and like he didn't even listen he told me that there was no way I had PCOS or a very slim chance because I had 2 kids at the time and that was not capable of happening and then when he utrasounded me I only had 2 cysts so that was not enough to clasify me as having PCOS...Mind you I was on BC and had been doing a research study for PCOS and had been on Met and Actos...With Doc appointments being 25 bucks a pop I want to have as much info as possible when I go in...
