Isn't erythritol the sugar alcohol that is in Truvia, the new Stevia containing product that I think is made by the Coca Cola Company. I like the taste of Truvia better than stevia - altough I probably use more stevia than Truvia because I am working under the asumption that it might be healthier -- Truvia does not have near the unpleasant aftertaste that stevia does - although the taste is probably not as close to sugar as like equal and splenda -- Truvia has sort of a vanilla quality - that I think is not at all unwelcome in most things I might want to use it in - one exception might be lemonaide. |
