My doctor does not take me seriously either. I think I have insulin resistance since I have so many symptoms such as chronic fatigue, thirst, hunger, stiff fingers, always peeing etc and then I have the hair loss from the androgens. But my doctor made it sound like my peeing is from drinking too much liquids, my stiff fingers was from dry skin, my fatigue is nothing, and my hair loss was from using Head and Shoulder. Sounds like doctors think that they're the only intelligent people in the world and that us patients can't possibly come up with a right diagnosis since we're not as bright as phycisians are. He thinks that I'm being over dramatic about my symptoms and only gave me a blood test to get me out of the room.

Does anyone know if your glucose levels can be normal with insulin resistance?
