I had stopped taking metformin & synthroid completely. Fast forward later I found out I was 4 months pregnant! I had stopped taking them the month before I conceived. So I had gone for 5 months without. I got a royal chewing out by the Dr but she made sure my levels were good after that. It's hard to explain to people that it was normal for me to miss periods for even longer then that so I didn't even think could be pregnant when I was told I'd never be able to have children. If I'd have known I was going to get pregnant I'd have never stopped taking it in the first place. |
