i'm bitter too...when I asked my GP (her speciality is women's health) to prescribe me metformin (i have all the symptoms, alopecia, hair, cysts, very long periods etc though i wasnt diagnosed with it) she looked at me like i'm mad and said "metformin wont help you, this is a drug fo diabetics"... |
