Courtney: I would love to stay in touch with you through our pregancies as I am 5 months pregnant too. I got my TSH levels tested last Thursday and my doctor called me Monday and my TSH was 50, yes fifty. I have never had my TSH levels be so out of wack. She upped my Synthroid to 225 mcgs from 150 and added Cytomel 25 mcgs. I go back again in two weeks for more bloodwork. What has been bothersome to me is that when I called my OB they didn't seem concerned. There is a chance I could be carrying twins because I am 36 and because my husband's side of the family has a few sets. I would love to know now if I am carrying two but my OB wants to wait until March 26th. These next two weeks are going to be very long. |
