Ive never been pregnant so probably can't help too much but I'll try anyway:
from what I've read thyroid levels should be checked every trimester (whether single or multiple pregnancy) because they can change and your meds may need to be adjusted. As for the u/s I would push for it if it will make you feel better (b/c your stressing which isn't helpful for you) but I dont know that they will change your conception/due date until later in the pregnancy. Doctors seem to base everything on a 28 day cycle with day 14 of ovulation.........despite overwhelming evidence that very few people have that kind of cycle.
