The carb impact listed on potato and white flour products do not tell the whole story. Potato is one of the highest carb items you can possibly eat according to the glycemic index. What makes me mad is it's in everything from TV dinners that don't list potato as a side item to some ice creams and now cheese. It's in those things because it's addictive and high in carbs, even if the package doesn't show that.
