Looking for Endo/GP in San Diego Hey there! I'm really desperate to find a good doctor in San Diego. I'm with a GP at Scripps right now, and I just don't like the way they do things there. I had tons of blood work done, and after all of it, I only got a letter back saying "normal," and then when I found out I have IR- a letter that said “take metformin” that’s it. I haven't had a follow up since I found out I have IR! I feel like my needs are an inconvenience for my doctor. I don’t really feel like my gp is what I want… and it’s keeping me from going back for my annual (not good!) However, I feel like the only other place to go is through Sharp... And there don't seem to be any doctors with good ratings/reviews that are local. I'm looking for a general practitioner, family medicine, endocrinologist who is compassionate, younger than not, easy to communicate with. I'm not looking to TTC right now, so I’m not really looking for an RE. But, the hormone imbalance that goes along with PCOS is what’s really causing me problems right now. I have heart palpitations that are cyclical, I’m on medication for that. I don’t get AF anymore, and I’m on metformin. So I think I need an endo… ? Mostly I feel like I should see an endo, and probably a cardiologist (again) so… I’d like a good GP who can direct all of that. Any suggestions would be appreciated! ~Lulu
