You are covered because it is a group policy and not an individual policy. I spoke to Humana myself yesterday because my husband is leaving his job for a better one (only the new company has no insurance) and so we were going to go with an individual policy. We are currently with Humana and thought there would be no problems.WRONG!!! According to them they won't cover PCOS applicants if they are getting insurance as an individual policy BUT if a company provides that insurance , according to humana, they have to cover because they don't prequalify you and must cover pre-existing conditions. So hopefully as she switches to a different company group policy she should have no problems.
