Please don't hate me

I think they are a corn product, and corn has a very high GI rating. Depending on which chart you use, corn chips have a GI rating of like 72 and corn flakes (cereal) is around 80. I've read that pairing high GI foods with a protein, like bean dip, does somewhat decrease the GI rating of the whole snack. If you wanted you could use broccoli or celery instead of chips and that wouldn't be high GI at all though!
