My dr gave me provera in December to help start af and said that I could have af from 1 to 10 days and it could be painful because af hadn't been around for 5 months. I had to take if for 10 days and I think it was only 20mg or something small like that. I didn't to my knowledge have any problems with it. I only took it for two cycles. I may have been more emotional but I was just learning about PCOS and so that could have been alot to do with it as well. When I went back in February for a follow up my dr. switched me to prometruim. He said that it was more pregnancy friendly since I am TTC and could possibly get pg any month. I have taken prometruim once and haven't noticed any side effect. |
