Fantastic Dr in St. Louis area! His name is Dr. Michael Dixon. He practices at St. Anthony's hospital in south county. I woul dhighly recommend him to anyone with PCOS or any fertility problem. He likes to use natural methods if he can and he is a catholic Dr. and will not prescribe birth control, but he is very understanding and easy to talk to. I strongly believe without his hard work and help with my PCOS my husband and I would not have had our 2 children. HE is very patient, kind, and really works with you to help find out your history with PCOS and your cycles and problems and how he can help. He put me on Metformin for a little over a year and also synthroid for about a year. He also had me take natural progesterone once a month for about a week so I would have a period. I also learned the Creighton Model form of Natural family Planning so that I would recognize when I was fertile and should try to concieve. Then once he felt I was starting to have some normal periods and cycles, He tried me on Clomid. Then Bam! I got pregnant after one round of very low dose Clomid. |
