I'm not the original poster, but I've been on the 5mcg injection of Byetta for almost 4 years, and it's still working great for me. I took it through my entire pregnancy, didn't develop gestational diabetes, and delivered a full-term, healthy baby. For me, Byetta has definitely worked longer than 3 years.
