I can't imagine Trader Joes has any trans fats as it's fat free & two tablespoons of it isn't even a point on W.W. So if it has any at all it has to be trace enough to not be listed on the label. That's why I love it sooooo much. It's always felt like a "free" yet delicious food.

And if you take a jar & mix it with fat free cream cheese and bake it, top with cilantro, it's elegant enough to serve to guests!

I've made my own before as I live 1.5 hours away from Trader Joes & so can't always get theirs and it's good too, but nothing is as good as my yummy pre-made dip.

I wonder if any of you ever eat the vegetable chips? Are those low GI? Cause I bet they would good in it.

The thing is, I take this particular treat to parties to keep myself from going crazy at the potlucks, so that is another reason premade & portable are so important to me.
