A big congrats to you my dear. My story as you know is very close to yours (except for the back problems). After 8 years of failed fertility treatments I too had RNY surgery...got down to 140 and 1st month not using protection at 16 months post op got pregnant with my 1st daughter. I had a healthy pregnancy & baby (my OB treated me like any other OB patient aside from the GTT) and when my daughter was 1.5 we tried again and immediately got pregnant again with DD2. I had a healthy pregnancy & baby a 2nd time. I can't wait to see your u/s pictures and find out if you'll be having a boy/girl. Will you find out?
Anyway like Tammy I would not be a mom had it not been for my WLS & subsequent weight loss...and even my OB/GYN agrees. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
