I'm not sure which, if any other provinces have agreements but here in B.C. we can go south to washington state(only) and have any prescriptions filled that our written by B.C. registered doctors.
Way back when there was a drug shortage (including Synthroid) the province and state implemented this allowance to help patients get much needed meds.
The down side is many insurance companies will not pay for meds obtained this way in addition to many doctors are not aware of all the new released medications available south of the border and therefore not willing to write you a prescription.
