I went back to my dr. yesterday and he said he would not even think about recommending the lapband for me until I had 6 mos. of supervised weight loss. He wants me to join Weight Watchers for the next 6 months and go to the dr. monthly for that time. That also is most of what my insurance company requires. I am determined to be serious with the WW. I lost 60 lbs. on it before. I will just have to stick with it.
