I was put on Glumetza after being on regular metformin since 2003 and not being able to tollerate the met (it prity much kept me house bound while I was on it - made trying to work outside the home next to impossible, and ment no social life what so ever for me).
Since i was placed on the glumetza two months ago, its been way better - glumetza is the time release version of metformin. My body is tollerating it much better then it ever did the regular met.
You might see about going on the glumetza to see if it works for you over the regular met.
