Default Hallo Du...hey you!

@usfirefly.

Ich bin aus Deutschland. Habe auch in den USA für 11 Jahre gewohnt. They call it PCO or PCO-Syndrom as well. When you are back here have yourself checked by an endocrinologist...and only have the ultrasound of the ovaries done by a gynecologist! You'll need a referal (überweisung) from your general practitioner.

Make sure that you get copies of all your labs done (hormone levels etc) from your US physicians.

Where in Germany are you moving to?

P.S. My experience with university clinics here are not positive. Don't be discouraged if you don't find the "best" endocrinologist or even GP immediately in Germany.

I have had hormone troubles for the past 2 years and JUST NOW found an okay doctor that took me serious. I don't really like German docs.....just a bit on the arrogant side when you ask too many questions.... pffft. ;)

viele liebe Grüße...

Lana
