 warning spot cream can give very bad burns!

On friday my doctor precrisbed me some cream for my spots. It's called DUAC. I did as she told me and tried it on a small patch on my chest so that if i had a reaction it wouldn't show. The next morning i looked half expecting to have a rash but nothing. Great i thought. On saturday night i applied it over my face chest shoulders and a little on my back. The next morning i had a small rash but not to bad. Ok i thopught a bit of a reaction. How wrong was i by the evening my face neck, chest, shoulders and back were red raw. I maxde the trip up to my local nhs walk in centre. The nurse took one look and informed me that the cream had burn't my skin. I never thought it could do that. I spent all night appying cold compresses to cool it down. This morning i woke thinking may be the burnt areas will have cooled down boy i was wrong. I am still in a lot of pain and feel like i am on fire.
I felt so bad that i saw my gp again today. Aparently if you are alergic to it the reaction can be very nasty as i found out. i just wanted to warn people before they use it. If you are going to use it do a tester first but at least a flew times before using it.
