Firstly, I use this website http://www.drugdigest.org/wps/portal...30276FL8L614T3 to check for interactions...

And after I type that I realize, you can't see links yet. Come back and check on that after you get 10 ;-)

Spiro /Met shows no interactions, but I would second the suggestion of asking for Glumetza. I just started it, and find no side effects. My biggest problem with Met was as soon as I went over 1000 mg, I got dizzy spells, so the doc switched me to Glumetza in hopes that i'll be able to go to 2000 mg without much problem...

As long as you're not TTC than Spiro is fine for ya... it takes a while to see results on it, so just be patient!

On a TTC Break after 3.5 years

Hubby has hyperthyroidism, with T4 at 85 (normal 22) and T3 at 35 (normal 6.5)

July 2009 - Radio Active Iodine - Failed. Did not kill off enough thyroid.

October 2009 - T4 is 29 and T3 is 22

Jan 2010 - Another round of RAI
