When I started my treatment for hypothyroidism my doctor told that it was likely for new things to appear and 9 months later I was diagnosed with pcos, it was as if my medicine was making my pcos stronger, because before my metabolism was slow, and all the symptoms went totally crazy, my insulin resistence, acne, hair problems, just to name a few. I thought it was my synthroid causing all these issues, and on top of that I gained like 32 lbs within 2 weeks. One of the things that pushed the doctors to do a test on me was my intolerance to cold, it was like 80 degrees outside and i was cold, especially my feet and hands. |
