I was diagnosed with PCOS years ago, long before trying for a baby. When I got married we did the same as you and decided we'd rather try sooner than "ideal" than face the possibility of never having children. We've since been trying for 14 or 15 months. I've been on Clomid for 6 of those months and Metformin and Femara for 3 months. We've had artificial insemination done 5 times and this week sometime will make 6. It's not an easy path and I sympathize with you. I truly believe that WHEN we do get pregnant that it will be more than worth the wait. After everything my husband and I have done to conceive, I can't wait to hear a teenager say, "You're ruining my life!!!" without knowing everything it took to get that little bugger here to "ruin their life".
