Default Anxious Cyster TTC

Okay, so I have a dilemma. I've suffered from generalized anxiety disorder since 2001. Initially was given Effexor and Xanax by a psychiatrist and was on those for about 1.5 years until I got pregnant and miscarried (blighted ovum). I asked the OB to put me on Paxil (while it was still considered safe in pregnancy 6 years ago). I recently tapered off of Paxil 30 mg after taking it for nearly 6 years and am transitioning to Prozac 20mg and in the meanwhile taking Clonazepam (Klonopin) 1 mg spread out through the day. I'm supposed to be taking 2 mg, but I felt so drugged and out of it. I have an almost 4 year old at home with me throughout the day.

So, here's my dilemma: how do I get off the Clonazepam? I tried to get down to .75mg and ouch that was tough!!! It is contraindicated to TTC while on this drug as any other benzo... I keep trying to taper off of it, but I feel the rebound anxiety from not taking it. I was on Xanax to begin, but found out that if you take Zithromax (Z-Pak) with Xanax it nullifies the effectiveness of the drug and boy that was an interesting two days... So, I was switched to the "better drug" according to my new psychiatrist. I think I also need to get the Prozac increased. I just recently titrated to my maximum dose of Metformin @ 1500mg/day. My body is just playing the medicine wars.... Has anyone else been where I'm at? Any encouraging words? Suggestions?

Thanks,
Jenny
