Does this sound like endo? So, I had my ultrasound yesterday. From what I saw on the screen and the images I googled in advance (plus my symptoms and the hints the tech dropped) I'm sure that they are going to tell me PCOS. I'm not as relieved to have a diagnosis as I thought I would be.
But, the tech asked me twice about how bad my periods were. Then he asked about ovulation pains. (Um, I don't ovulate, so I couldn't answer that one.) I thought that was a little unusual, I've only heard of painful periods associated with endo. And mine aren't that bad, I don't think, especially considering I only have them every 90+ days...(yeah, they hurt, but nothing a low dose of tylenol won't fix) but I'm not sure why else he would have asked. Every once in awhile I'll get stabbing pains in my uterus it feels like, but not that often, I always thought that was normal or cramps or whatever. (And the stabbing pains weren't ovulation pains, unfortunately.)
Am I making something of nothing or does it sound like he suspected endo? (I know a lap is the only way to officially diagnose endo.)
He said he would talk to the doctor and then come talk to me, but he ended up just saying "your doctor will call you." And it didn't look like from his facial expression that the doctor will have good news.
I won't hear from them probably until Tuesday at the soonest, and I can't stop thinking about this. I went in pretty much already knowing that I have PCOS, so I was okay with that, but now I'm worried that they suspect endo too and that terrifies me because it is not something I feel at all prepared to deal with. I know I shouldn't go borrowing trouble before they even tell me, but I feel like I need to prepare myself for the worst and hope it's nothing.
Thanks for your opinions.
ETA: And I've been having cramps and stabbing pains off and on since my ultrasound. Is that normal? It sucks.
