God is not punitive - He loves us. He is not punishing you for your past mistake. If you ask Him for forgiveness, He will forgive you. He's not some bully in the sky waiting to strike you down. Trust in His forgiveness. Have you forgiven yourself?
As far as generational curses, those need to be understood in the context in which that was written - Old Testament Law. Nobody now is suffering from a generational curse - we are not punished for the sins of others, at least not by God. |
