Yes, I had an abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound. I do have pain with sex sometimes and I was sore the day of and the day after the ultrasound which isn't really supposed to be normal but I definitely don't think it's bad enough for surgery or anything.
The "good" news is that it IS PCOS. (No kidding, I've been telling them that for three years. I finally had to beg for this ultrasound because they kept dismissing me since my bloodwork-done at the wrong time-was normal. But I have all of the symptoms plus my mom was diagnosed with pcos.)
They didn't mention endo at all, so I'm assuming I'm in the clear from that. I had been on BCP for five years and this is my first year off as of May (we are TTC.)
The relief I was hoping for the day of the ultrasound has come now that I don't have endo to worry about, or at least for now. |
